A few weekends ago my 5 year old asked if we could go to Mount Coot-tha.  It was so lovely and vibrant after the hot/wet/hot/wet weather we have had in Brisbane over the past few months.
It is a wonderful place for families. Â There is a children’s trail with a map and items to find and check off which my 3 loved. So many great natural learning opportunities as they explore the hidden glades and see the amazing array of plants and flowers, fronds and animals. We spotted some baby Brush Turkeys and a small snake!
Even with 3 small, energetic and FAST! little people in tow, I was able to capture these beauties.  Looking at them took me back to my nature photography days where I could wander for hours in a National Park photographing the fauna and flora.  Isn’t Mother Nature a clever lady?
